Freycinet Marine Farm (Attraction)
Oyster farm with the fabulous Hazards Mountains in Freycinet National Park as a backdrop. Pacific oysters and the native Angasi oyster are harvested here. Pacific oysters possess a delicate briny flavour and are plump and creamy. The Angasi is larger and flatter, similar in flavour to the famed Belon oyster of France. Tours depart daily at 10am and include product samples. Tours of the oyster beds are dependant on weather conditions. Bookings essential.
The cost of $30.00 per person is for an on-shore tour while an off-shore tour is $50.00.
