In less than five-minutes’ walk you can be in the heart of Bicheno’s shops, cafes and restaurants. Wander down to the beach and enjoy the brilliant blue water and far-stretching beaches. Bicheno is an ideal base to explore Freycinet National Park, Douglas Apsley National Park, the east coast forests as well as extensive coastal reserves all within 30-minutes’ drive. Book a boat charter and experience the excellent fishing opportunities available. Stop at Diamond Island for an evening tour to watch the fairy penguins head up the beach to nest.
The coastal town is just over two-hours’ drive from Launceston (174 kilometres/108 miles).
