Gone Rustic
Gone Rustic is a quilt studio and showroom at St Marys, north-east Tasmania.
Gone Rustic features the work of award-winning Tasmanian textile artist Rita Summers. Quilts, handcrafts, collectibles and furniture are displayed in the showroom; many are available for sale. Quilting kits and patterns are also available and you can even commission your own handmade quilt. Gone Rustic also features touring exhibitions during the year and workshops are offered on a regular basis. A short-arm quilting machine is available for use by visiting quilters.
Gone Rustic, which is housed in a converted service station, is also home to a collection of classic cars undergoing loving restoration by co-owner, Ian Summers. You can visit Gone Rustic from Tuesday to Friday between 11am and 4pm and at other times by appointment.
St Marys is two hours east of Launceston (129 kilometres/80 miles), three hours north-east of (218 kilometres/135 miles) and a short drive from Tasmania’s east coast.
