Country Style Cabin
Country Style Cabin provides self -contained accommodation in the historic village of Ross, Tasmania.
The cabin is appointed with a queen-size bed, a well-equipped kitchenette and comfortable dining area. There is a separate bathroom with adjustable shower, spacious lounge area and LCD digital television with complimentary movies. Make use of the gas barbecue and outdoor setting where you can enjoy the peaceful country outlook and friendly animals. Fresh farm eggs are included in the breakfast provisions and barbecue packs as well as cooked breakfast provisions are available for order.
The accommodation reception can be found at T Spot, the owner’s cafe and tea house (circa 1890). Here you can enjoy a light lunch or snack, with guests receiving a 10 per cent discount off dining and giftware purchases. Stroll to the village and see the famous convict sandstone bridge nestled on the banks of the Macquarie River. Visit the Heritage Museum and Wool Centre, convict Female Factory site and original burial grounds. Shop for antiques, art and wood crafts, while enjoying the old-world charm of Ross.
Ross is approximately an hours’ drive from Launceston, south along the Midlands Highway (78 kilometres/48 miles).
