Gumtrees Cottage provides modern, self-contained accommodation in the historic village of Ross, in northern Tasmania.
Gumtrees is a one-bedroom cottage, appointed with a queen-size bed and spacious living and dining areas. There is a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom with separate toilet and laundry facilities. A continental breakfast is included in your stay and undercover off-street parking is provided.
The cottage is located in the centre of the Ross village heritage area. Enjoy fresh baked bread from the local bakery’s wood-fired oven and wander the elm tree lined streets of this historic town. You are within easy walking distance of the convict-built Ross Bridge, an ideal place to enjoy a quiet picnic. The adjacent Man O’Ross hotel offers lunch and dinner seven days a week and can also provide conference facilities.
Ross is about an hours’ drive from Launceston (78 kilometres/48 miles) south along the Heritage Highway.
