Lythgos Row of Romantic Cottages - historic self-contained cottages at Pontville, 25 minutes north of Hobart.
These three sandstone cottages were built between 1845 and 1855, and form a cosy terrace with dormer windowed attic bedrooms. They have an enchanting old world ambience. The cottages have fully equipped kitchens.
Take your breakfast outside and potter around in the fragrant herb and flower garden as you drink your coffee.
Pontville is a small village that has carefully preserved its Georgian heritage.
From here you can easily reach Hobart with its wealth of history, the pretty valleys of southern Tasmania, the historic midlands, the sand and sun of the east coast and, nearby in Brighton is Go Wild Tasmania (formerly known as Bonorong Park Wildlife Centre), home to Tasmanian devils, wombats, koalas, quolls, echidnas and more.
