It’s two kilometres from Constitution Dock, Salamanca Place, Battery Point and Hobart’s business centre.
Clydesdale Manor, is an imposing Geogian style building built in the 1880's as a 'Gentleman's residence', set among half an acre of English style gardens It is a National Trust and Heritage Council listed building. A feature of the property is the grandeur and scale of the meandering cedar staircase, 14 feet ceilings and 15 inch high skirting boards. The numerous rooms exude warmth and serenity, the guest lounge has an open fireplace.
There are seven spacious guest suites (all with ensuites, two with spa) which have been tastefully furnished with quality soft furnishings and specially selected antique furniture.
Our famous gourmet breakfast is served in a delightful verandah style room overlooking the formal rear gardens and fountain.
