Derwent Retreat
Derwent Retreat is a luxurious house situated on the banks of the River Derwent near Hobart. Derwent Retreat is situated in Hobart’s northern suburb of Austins Ferry, five minutes drive from the city of Glenorchy and 15 minutes from Hobart’s central business district. It’s ideally located for business or pleasure being so close to major businesses and tourist attractions.
Derwent Retreat is fully furnished and has a fully equipped kitchen, laundry, gas barbecue, central heating, wood stove, wireless internet, towels, linen, television and small basketball court. Derwent Retreat has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and sleeps six people. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and ensuite, the second bedroom has a double bed and the third two single beds. These are served by a second bathroom and separate toilet.
All rooms have views of the river and Mt Wellington.
Five minutes away is Cadbury chocolate factory and Moorilla Estate where you can enjoy fine food, wine and beer tasting. Australia’s oldest National Park, Mount Field is less than 90 minutes away. Within two and a half hours you can travel to most destinations in the state including the Derwent Valley, Huon Valley, Bruny Island, Port Arthur and east coast.
