Lindisfarne Motor Inn
By night the Tasman Bridge is a magical arch of colour, the lights reflected in the water below. By day it's a graceful sweep of modern engineering. In front there's Lindisfarne Bay, where yachts are moored and ducks swim serenely back and forth. Behind there's magnificent Mount Wellington. What a view - it'll draw you back time and again.
At the Inn you're only five minutes from the centre of historic Hobart, with the bustling waterfront at Sullivans Cove, the Saturday market in Salamanca Place and dignified colonial buildings in mellow sandstone, now softly weathered.
In the evening, when you return tired to the Inn, relax in the landscaped garden and admire the view all over again. Then go into the restaurant, refreshed, for a delicious dinner.
Just recently installed is eight channels of Austar into every room.
