Discovery Holiday Parks (Cosy Cabins) offer comfortable accommodation at Risdon Cove near Hobart, southern Tasmania.
Choose from a range of options including lodge, cabin and cottage accommodation as well as ensuite powered sites. Lodge accommodation is appointed with a queen and double bed, suitable for four guests and has a fully-equipped kitchen. The cabins have a compact kitchen, separate bathroom, television and sleep between four and six guests. Cottages have the added benefit of a sitting room with gas log heater, more spacious kitchen and can sleep four to five guests. There are ensuite powered sites ideal for caravans and motor campers.
Less than 10 minutes’ walk away, you will find the Risdon Brook Dam Reserve which has a lovely walking path around the dam and is ideal for a family picnic. Also, enjoy the convenience of being just 15 minutes’ drive from central Hobart where you will find Salamanca Place where Australia’s largest outdoor market is held each Saturday. Within short driving distance are the attractions of the Huon Valley wineries, historic Richmond and wildlife parks where you can view the Tasmanian devil up close.
Risdon Cove is approximately 15-minutes’ drive from Hobart in Tasmania’s south.
