The Last Villas are self-contained apartments in the golden mile of Sandy Bay, southern Tasmania.
Architecturally designed by Steven Last, The Last Villas offer five self-contained apartments overlooking the Wrest Point Casino, River Derwent and Hobart surrounds. The accommodation is suitable for individual travellers, couples or groups desiring a private retreat. It is one of Last Architect’s unique properties, a multi-award recognised architectural and interior design practice that combines architecture, art and collectable furniture in a self-contained environment.
Privacy from the outside world is the experience when you arrive behind the secretive sandstone featured facade of this iconic building. Tasmanian wine and gourmet food tastings are intended during summer, with a program of events planned. Art within the villas is original and the occasional piece is for sale with prices available upon request.
Enjoy a pleasant walk to one of the renowned seafood restaurants, delicatessens and shops nearby. A bus stop is conveniently located at the door, which can take you to Salamanca Place and Hobart’s city centre within minutes.
