Salamanca Inn is an all-suite hotel located near Salamanca Place, in Hobart’s historic waterfront precinct. You can choose a one or two bedroom suite or an apartment – standard or deluxe.
All standard and business suites feature networked Compaq Personal Computers with flat screen monitors and high speed wireless internet connections. Wireless Lan connections are also available for personal laptops from anywhere within the hotel.
All suites have a spacious open plan living area, fully equipped galley kitchen, large bathroom, and full size desk. The two-bedroom suites contain a mezzanine floor and private balcony.
The apartments have two separate bedrooms, kitchen, laundry, and large living area, and the deluxe apartments offer two bathrooms.
There is a pool and spa on the top floor.
The Salamanca Inn is around the corner from Salamanca Place and within a five-minute walk of the central business district, Saturday Salamanca market, the craft shops and galleries, the waterfront and its restaurants.
The Salamanca precinct is great for restaurants, both casual and more formal, craft galleries, the Salamanca Arts Centre and Peacock Theatre, good coffee shops, delicatessen and friendly pubs. The Hunter Street precinct is another area to explore for restaurants and craft galleries.
