Tan-Y-Bryn is a tranquil and comfortable retreat. is set in a beautiful, secluded landscaped garden, yet only 10 minutes drive to the centre of Hobart.
The house is fully furnished, has a well equipped kitchen, separate dining room, large comfortable lounge room, laundry and outdoor eating area with gas barbecue. It has reverse cycle air conditioning, and lock up garage. There are three double bedrooms (two with queen, one with twin beds) and one single bedroom. Breakfast supplies for the first morning, complimentary port, cookies, tea and coffee are provided.
It is situated at the eastern boundary of Wellington Park, Hobart's largest flora and fauna reserve. The park extends over 30 kilometres to the west and contains many walking tracks and trails, which provide access to the mountain's waterfalls, rainforest, fern glades and rugged beauty.
Convenient access to all that Hobart has to offer; delightful waterfront cafes, art and craft shops, Salamanca Market, galleries, historic buildings, a brewery or chocolate factory tour. An ideal base for day trips to the Huon and Derwent Valleys, Richmond, and Port Arthur.
