Conservation Experience

Conservation Volunteers Australia (CVA) is Australia’s leading practical conservation organisations, founded in 1982.
It completes in excess of 2,000 conservation projects Australia – wide each year, and welcomes both Australian and international volunteers.
The Conservation Experience is managed by Conservation Volunteers Australia and involves volunteers in practical conservation projects across Australia. Conservation experiences are packaged as four or six week programs; however, you can also choose one week or two week packages.
Conservation Experience packages includes all meals, basic accommodation, Conservation Volunteers Australia tee-shirt and project related transport.
You don’t need any special skills to participate in a conservation experience just a willingness to get involved and help make a difference.
Projects are typically labour intensive so it is recommended that participants be in good health and reasonably fit.
Conservation projects undertaken by CVA include: tree planting, weed removal, seed collection, flora and fauna surveys, track maintenance and construction, heritage restoration and habitat restoration.
