Moto Adventure Tasmania has late model motorcycles available from Hobart Tasmania’s capital city. They are less than 12 months old and are maintained according to manufacturers recommendations and safety checks are performed before you set off.
The single cylinder 650cc, five speed gear box, long travel suspension for its great all round abilities, ease of use, and long distance comfort. This is a great motorcycle to explore Tasmania. It can handle virtually all of the roads less ridden you choose to explore.
We have full height and lowered versions of this top quality mid sized motorcycle.
The R1200GS is our flagship motorcycle. It is built for quality, comfort, economy and dependability. It is ideal for the larger rider and for couples.
The BMW R1200GS is acknowledged by many experts as the best all-round road bike ever made.
In 2004 the GS was awarded the prestigious International Bike of the Year trophy, an annual balloting of motorcycle magazines from around the world.
All our motorcycles are fitted with BMW expandable hard panniers, ABS anti-lock braking and heated handle bar grips.

We supply an experienced motorcycle mounted guide, a four wheel drive backup vehicle, quality BMW multipurpose motorcycles, riding gear, and at the end of the day's ride, quality accommodation that reflects what's great about Tasmania. We can pick you up from the airport and deliver you to your Hobart Hotel. Start each morning with a hearty breakfast and lunch on delicious local produce (all inclusive). Lunch venue may be a traditional Aussie pub or a quality four star restaurant. At the end of each day you will stay at the best of Tasmania's iconic places, Port Arthur, Coles Bay, Launceston, Cradle Mountain, Strahan, and Hobart. Our luxury adventure tour will take you to the corners of Tasmania. Most roads are smooth but narrow and winding. Occasionally we will traverse unsealed roads revealing Tasmania's best kept secrets.
