Pedaltours specialises in customised cycling tours in Tasmania ranging from three to 16 days.
You can experience one of the world’s great cycling destinations, with uncrowded and well-maintained roads that take you through temperate rainforest, historic villages and past pristine white beaches.
Pedaltours put you up in excellent lodges and we make sure your healthy appetites are well catered for with hearty meals.
All tours are fully supported with a seat in the bus for everyone and the company offers quality rental bikes – 27 speed road, cross and tandem.
Custom tours are a specialty – from just two people to a maximum of 67 to date. You can combine your cycling with sea kayaking, walking, fishing or your own special interest.
You can choose the area, duration and level of accommodation – from budget to five star.
Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

East Coast Eight Days TourThe tour starts in Hobart and then heads east and north along Tasmania's east coast, taking in the seaside town of Orford, Maria Island National Park with its prolific wildlife, the Freycinet Peninsula, the fishing town of St Helens, inland to Scottsdale, followed by two days exploring Launceston and the Tamar Valley wine region. Huon Valley Three Day TourA leisurely tour with short daily distances, you'll start in Hobart and follow the River Derwent south to Kettering on the D'Entrecasteaux Channel. You'll ride to Cygnet on day two, and return to Hobart on day three via the Huon River and over the shoulder of Mt Wellington. Tasmania 16 Days TourThe tour is in two sections: eight days on the east coast and nine days on the west coast. The tour starts in Hobart and travels to Orford, Maria Island, Freycinet, St Helens, Scottsdale and Launceston (plus rest day). The tour moves north-west to Sheffield, then west to Cradle Mountain, Tullah, Strahan, Derwent Park, Hamilton and returning to Hobart. West Coast Nine Days TourStarting in Launceston the tour departs the next day to Sheffield and overnight before travelling to Cradle Mountain, part of Tasmania's World Heritage wilderness. Moving south-west to Tullah and then onto the fishing town of Strahan before travelling to Lake St Clair, south to Hamilton and then finishing in Hobart. | |
