Bruny wildlife AdventureThe almost nine-hour Bruny Wildlife Adventure involves two vessels, ship loads of wildlife and fine food and wine. It begins in Hobart aboard the luxury catamaran Peppermint Bay II. Passengers cruise on the River Derwent from Hobart to Bruny Island, south of Hobart. They then transfer to Adventure Bay at the southern end of the island and board the coastal exploration vessel Adventure for a voyage toward the Southern Ocean. South Bruny Island's sculpted coastline features towering coastal cliffs and plenty of wildlife including sea eagles, dolphins and penguins. Adventure passengers also visit a seal haul-out. Live on-board vision of the underwater world will be shown via the Adventure's undersea cameras. The tour also includes a regional lunch platter at HIBA, the home of Bruny Island Fudge. Visitors reboard Peppermint Bay II for the return to Hobart. | |
