Mt Wellington Walks
Mount Wellington Walks offers you the chance to get to know Hobart's favourite landmark and backdrop.
You have the chance to explore this ancient dolerite peak that was climbed by Charles Darwin, and to experience a glaciated landscape.
From various lookouts you can see as far as the Tasman Peninsula in the south-east and across the south-west wilderness.
The walking can be easy or adventurous - you choose!
At 1271 metres (just over 4,000 feet) the Mountain, as Tasmanian's call it, is a completely different world just 20 minutes' drive from central Hobart.
Your guides are knowledgeable and can show you the secret wonders most visitors miss out on. Your guide will make sure the path is comfortable for your needs and get you there and back with a smile!
Learn about the flora and fauna, the weather and the rocks, the cultural history and the ancient flow of life that connects us to the past.
All tours include return transport from Hobart and all tours visit the summit (unless the road is closed).
