Fly to the colourful granite peaks and remote silver beaches of Freycinet Peninsula and over deserted islands. Land on beautiful Maria Island for a half hour refreshment break, where the wildlife are friendly and prolific (watch where you step and hang onto your food!) and the historic ruins are the only sign of its past life as a penal colony and farm.
