Cambridge House
Cambridge House offers bed and breakfast accommodation at Geeveston, 70 kilometres south of Hobart.
Cambridge House was built in 1870 by John Geeves, an Englishman, and a founding member of Geeveston. He owned a sawmill opposite the house, from which timber came to build the house. Cambridge House has been lovingly restored and exudes the warmth, charm and comfort of the twenty first century.
Cambridge House is bordered by the Kermandie River where platypus can be seen playing in the river.
There are two queen sized bedrooms with ensuite facilities and one has a king single in it as well. Upstairs the family room has a double bed plus two children's beds and there is also an extra double room and a twin room too. A dinner menu is available, with local produce, some from our own garden. In the evening relax with a pre dinner drink in the garden or watching the platypus and ducks feeding.
There is a lock-up garage for motor-cycles and club members are welcome.
