Camellia Cottage At Maple Hill offers bed and breakfast accommodation in the Huon Valley, Tasmania. Camellia Cottage is located at Castle Forbes Bay 15 minutes’ drive south of Huonville, in the heart of the Huon Valley, with easy access to all Huon Trail attractions, including the exciting Tahune Air Walk, and the ancient Hastings Caves. The jet boats, wineries, restaurants and arts and crafts are all close by. Pristine beaches and glorious scenery, there is something for everyone.
You’ll wake to views across gardens, paddocks and apple orchards to the lovely Huon River. The cottage is in the middle of a farm so its peaceful here. Probably the only sounds will be the distant voices of sheep, goats, cows and calves.
The cottage is over 125 years old, steeped in character and is furnished in country style. It has facilities for making tea, toast and coffee. Your hosts supply provisions for a continental breakfast, including homemade breads and jams.
After dinner relax in front of the cosy open fire. There’s radio and television but you’d probably rather switch on the garden lights and enjoy the romantic view of trees, shrubs and ponds.
