Serena Lodge is a stylish holiday home sleeping five to six guests. There are two bedrooms, one appointed with a double bed and the other with bunks and a single bed. All linen, doonas and electric blankets are provided. There is a spacious living area and modern bathroom facilities. The pristine beaches are just two minutes’ walk from Serena Lodge.
Try your luck fishing from one of the beaches or at the local jetty. A fish-cleaning sink is conveniently located near the barbecue area at the lodge. Spend time exploring the island and be sure to visit one of Australia’s oldest lighthouses, Cape Bruny Lighthouse. Take a charter cruise around the coast of Bruny Island and experience the towering sea cliffs. You will find rainforest, mountains and stunning coastal scenery at South Bruny National Park.
Bruny Island is located off the south coast of Tasmania and is accessed by a 15-minute car ferry from the town of Kettering. This town is 40-minutes’ drive (34 kilometres/21 miles) south of Hobart.
