Cygnet Hotel is located only 45 minutes from Hobart and provides superb country style accommodation. The Heritage Listed hotel is a 25 minute drive to Kettering or Geeveston and it’s an easy walk to art gallery/studios, cafes and a history museum.
The Heritage Rooms of the century old Cygnet Hotel have been considerately refurbished and individually furnished to provide a comfortable stay in a genuine old country hotel. Use of the guest lounge-room is provided, as well as self-serve continental breakfast. Four rooms have queen-size beds (one with a trundle), one has a double plus a single bed, and two have twin-share single beds.
There are also seven double bunk budget rooms. All bedding and linen is supplied.
The Cygnet Hotel has a restaurant, function centre, bar and bottle-shop. Laundry facilities are available at Cygnet Caravan Park which is operated by the hotel. Internet access is available. On Friday nights local musicians drop in to the bar to play groovy music.
Cygnet is renowned for its annual Folk Music Festival. Wineries, cider-works, apple farm attractions, a sheep cheesery, farm cafés and Bruny Island ferry are all a short drive away.
