Oyster Cove Inn (c.1890's) offers hotel style accommodation at Kettering 25 minutes drive south of Hobart.
Kettering is a fishing village located at the gateway to Bruny Island. The Oyster Cove Inn offers lovely views over the marina and picturesque bay. You can watch the fishing boats and yachts come and go while you enjoy a coffee and cake or a fine gourmet meal at the hotel restaurant. The original botanic gardens (1890’s) are being restored and intriguing sculptures are being added.
Forget the busy world by boating, fishing and bushwalking around the serene waters of the lovely D’Entrecasteaux Channel, one of the most beautiful waterways in the world. Bring your own boat or hire one from the marina below the inn.
The Oyster Cove Inn has 12 hotel rooms that offer double of twin accommodation with shared bathroom facilities. All rooms have electric blankets, heating, television and tea and coffee making facilities.
