Villa Talia
Villa Talia is a luxurious country house providing self-contained accommodation overlooking the Huon Valley, Tasmania.
There are two bedrooms appointed with queen-sized beds, accommodating up to four guests. Enjoy the convenience of two separate bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. There is a lounge room, dining room and library, each with a spacious feel and high ceilings. The living room and bedrooms have direct access to a deep wraparound veranda. In addition to central heating there are two gas fireplaces.
The interior decor is the ultimate in quality and style. The furnishings and fittings are mostly French and Italian made, while the appliances are all German. The surround sound CD and DVD entertainment system is superb. However, please note there is NO television.
Excellent restaurants, vineyards, orchards and cheese makers are all within an easy drive of Villa Talia. Walk a few minutes down to the river where dolphins are regularly seen, eagles soar above and wildlife is abundant. The eight acre property is totally private, in a rural setting and with glorious 180 degree water and mountain views, yet only 50 minutes drive south of Hobart and 10 minutes from the cafes and shops in Cygnet.
