Herons Rise Vineyard offers boutique self-contained cottage, and bed and breakfast accommodation at Kettering, Tasmania. Situated at the gateway to Bruny Island and the Huon Valley, Herons Rise is a 30 minutes drive south of Hobart and overlooks the picturesque boating harbour of Kettering.
Imagine tree lined hills and lush green valleys with stunning views of water stretching over to Bruny Island. These two country style cottages feature Tasmanian timbers and are warmed by crackling log fires. House wine here means top quality white and Pinot Noir from grapes grown in our vineyard.
Revive your taste buds with fine food prepared from fresh local produce. The two cottages have fully equipped kitchens, queen-size beds, and every facility you need for comfort and privacy. Your hosts can create a delicious dinner for you to enjoy in your own cottage, or buy some quality Tasmanian produce; seafood, organic vegetables, autumn mushrooms, summer berries – create your own Tasmanian gourmet feast.
There are great opportunities for sailing, fishing, golfing, bushwalking. Walk in the Hartz Mountains National Park, watch out for rare birds and native wildlife. Lie on a beach or stay in and read. Look forward to the evenings wine-tasting and another culinary treat.
