Stringy Bark Holiday Accommodation is situated on a 10-hectare (25-acre) farm at Judbury in the Huon Valley.
Each apartment comprises a modern, fully equipped open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, a separate bathroom and two bedrooms. The main bedroom opens onto a covered veranda, and features a queen-sized bed, while the other has two single beds. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge room. All linen is provided.
The apartments are warmed by wood-fired combustion heaters, which will be blazing when you arrive if the weather is chilly. The bathroom contains a shower, bath, basin and toilet. You can request a light breakfast for your first morning, or pick up provisions in Huonville. Shared laundry facilities are available.
The farm is bisected by a creek and surrounded by attractive forested hills. From here, you can drive through the scenic Huon region and pick up fresh fruit and produce from orchard stalls, boat or fish on one of the many waterways, or visit vineyards for cellar door tastings and a stylish restaurant meal.
