Inala Nature Tours
Inala Nature Tours offers personalised birdwatching and wildlife tours of Bruny Island and Tasmania. Our specialist guides have detailed knowledge of the flora and fauna of Tasmania. The owner, Dr. Tonia Cochran, is a trained botanist, zoologist and specialist birdwatching/wildlife guide with experience in leading tours throughout Australia. Each tour is personally designed, and we help you choose the destinations and length of tour to suit your interests. Partially and fully-guided options are available. We are also licensed travel agents and can book all your travel and accommodation arrangements.
Inala Nature Tours is based on “Inala”, a 500 acre nature refuge on Bruny Island, which is home to threatened species such as the endangered Forty-spotted pardalote and Grey goshawk, and all of the Tasmanian endemic birds. Tour packages range from a walking tour at “Inala”, half and full day tours of Bruny Island, to longer tours of Tasmania to suit an extended stay. Accommodation is available on the property.
Join our night tours to see penguins, quolls, potoroos, wallabies and possums and travel with us to other Tasmanian destinations to see Tasmanian devils, wombats, kangaroos and a variety of birds including the critically endangered Orange-bellied parrot in their natural habitat.
