Ben Lomond Creek Inn
Ben Lomond Creek Inn provides lodge accommodation in Tasmania’s mountain wilderness atop Ben Lomond. Ski right to the door of your cosy accommodation.
Each unit has a double bed and a set of king single bunk beds with en suite bathroom. There are tea and coffee making facilities and a north facing sun deck. One unit has a small kitchen suitable for cooking simple meals. All cutlery, crockery and linen are supplied. The units are small but cosy and offer privacy you will not find elsewhere on the mountain.
During the ski season, July to September, go downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing. Lessons and equipment are available. Indoors, there is a tavern and restaurant with live music on Saturday nights. The fully licensed Creek Inn offers great value meals all day from breakfast through to dinner every day. A fast-food outlet is convenient when you want to eat outdoors or in your hostel.
Try your hand at abseiling, rock climbing, canoeing and mountain bike riding, easily arranged for groups. Go bush walking and notice the colourful alpine wildflowers.
Ben Lomond National Park is approximately one hours’ drive southeast of Launceston along the North Esk River Valley (60 kilometres/37 miles).
