The Baudin Room is named in honour of French naturalist and cartographic surveyor to Tasmania, Nicolas Thomas Baudin. This 30 square metre room offers Napoleon 3rd and La Belle Epoque style marquetry antiques and a luxurious private detached bathroom with 24 carat gold tapware, full size claw foot bath and shower and floor heating. The Freycinet Room is named in honour of French naval officer, scientist, and cartographer to Tasmania, Louis Claude de Saulces de Freycinet. This 28 square metre room offers a Louis 16th style antique bedroom suite crowned with coronet, armoire, Louis 15th revival bergere chairs and a luxurious private detached bathroom with 24 carat gold tapware, full size claw foot bath, shower and floor heating.
