Bifrons House
Bifrons House provides self-contained apartment accommodation in Tasmania’s northern city of Launceston. Bifrons House was formerly an old mansion twice the scene of a bushranger raid in the 1800s.
There are deluxe one and two-bedroom apartments to choose from. The one-bedroom apartment is appointed with a queen-size bed and the two-bedroom option has two queen-size beds. A trundle bed or cot is available upon request. Each has a spacious fully-equipped kitchen, separate lounge and laundry facilities. The six apartments are elegantly furnished with beautiful cornices and marble fire surrounds.
Sit back on the verandah and enjoy a glass of local cool climate wine from the Tamar Valley. You are within easy walking distance to Launceston’s leafy parks and award-winning restaurants. Plan a day trip down the Tamar Valley Wine Route and visit the fruit orchards and road-side stalls along the way. Wander through the local historic towns of Evandale and Longford then book in for a therapeutic massage at the Aquarius Roman Baths. Take time to experience the beauty of the Cataract Gorge and later relax in the privacy of your comfortable apartment.
