You are just minutes away from the majestic Tamar River and local vineyards where you can sample some of Tasmania’s finest cool-climate wines. Choose from more than 20 vineyards, many of which have cellar door sales and restaurants offering delicious local produce. Head into Launceston and wander the boutique shops, street-side cafes and the delightful Cataract Gorge. Here you can take a chairlift ride, watch the colourful peacocks and even swim in the reserve’s pool.
