Award-winning Seahorse World at Beauty Point in Northern Tasmania proudly provides an excellent
educational experience. It is also leading the world in research and development to alleviate the plight
of the wild seahorse. Seahorse World provides visitors with an opportunity to experience the secret life of seahorses,
from pregnant males through birth up to adulthood.
By joining one of the regular guided tours (45 minutes duration), you will gain an intriguing insight into the seahorse,
experience the feeding of the fish and hands-on opportunities in the touch pool with many interesting sea creatures.
Seahorse World is fully accessibility for people with special needs and also has an impressive gift
shop featuring some of Tasmania’s fine art, crafts and souvenirs and a coffee shop for the hungry traveller.
Seahorse World is located just 45-minutes drive (44 kilometres/27 miles) north of Launceston at Beauty Point.
