Four Day Western Wilderness Safari TourExperience a four-day tour along Tasmania's wild and rugged west coast. Travel where dense forests line the highway, dark rivers tumble through steep gorges and wide lakes open up before you. On day one, you will do some sightseeing in Hobart before heading to Mount Field National Park. Take a walk to Russell Falls and around the alpine Lake Dobson before arriving in Tarraleah. On the second day you will head from Tarraleah to Strahan. Through the day you can explore great walks including Donaghy's Lookout, Franklin River and Nelson Falls. Finish the day in Strahan and explore wild Ocean Beach before heading to Cradle Mountain the following morning. To get there, you will travel via Rosebery and Tullah. Stop at a wildlife sanctuary to see the intriguing Tasmanian Devil. Explore the Cradle Mountain region on the last day including Dove and Crater Lakes before returning to Launceston. Seven Day Tassie Explorer Safaris TourThe Seven Day Tassie Explorer Safaris Tour takes you into untouched wilderness across Tasmania. Starting in Tasmania's harbour city of Hobart you will travel to Mount Field National Park where you can see Russell Falls and the alpine Lake Dobson. From here, the tour heads west towards Strahan. The tour begins in Launceston where you can explore the city's boutique shops and urban reserve, Cataract Gorge. Heading towards the east coast, you will then visit Bridestowe Lavender Farm and perhaps even make a winery stop. Through to Binalong Bay, enjoy a walk on the pristine white beaches and notice the orange lichen covered rocks of the Bay of Fires. Day two will take you from St Helens to Bicheno. Here you can visit Douglas Apsley National Park and Coles Bay. Spend the rest of the day exploring Freycinet National Park. Climb to the summit of Mt Amos or join a guided walk to Wineglass Bay.
