Bushwalkers Transfers and Private Charter

Tiger Wilderness Tours services operate as private charters and aim to offer the best transport to start and finish your walk. The company specialises in serving the Cradle Mountain Overland Track and the Walls of Jerusalem National Park. Be collected at the airport, taken to your track and returned to the airport. You can decide where and when you are collected without having to worry about airport connections, accommodation, taxis and park shuttles. Step off the bus and start walking. Tiger Wilderness Tours will organise your fuel supplies, gear hire and help with park permits. The company will stop for last minute supplies, perishable foods and your last fresh coffee. Tiger Wilderness Tours will be there when you end your walk and will take you directly to your departure point. Time is provided for a shower and a meal before you fly out on the same day you end your walk. Tiger Wilderness Tours operate clean and well-maintained buses and padded pack trailers to protect your valuable gear. The drivers are bushwalkers and drive safely. You can leave your luggage with the company. Also provided are track and park information booklets and the latest 4-day weather forecast on your arrival.

Cradle and Caves Big Day Out Tour

Cradle and Caves Big Day Out offers you some of Tasmania's best caves and mountains. Experience genuine guided walks on this excellent tour. Stop by a beautiful cool-climate wet cave. Here you will find all types of life including glow-worms, living fossils and blind spiders. Tiger Wilderness Tours take the back roads to Cradle Mountain and visit lookouts. At Cradle Mountain National Park you will be part of a small, intimate group as the guide leads you along this jagged ancient landscape. Take in the 1000-year-old trees in the Gondwana forest near the old Waldheim Lodge. You may also enjoy a leisurely walk along the Dove Lake shoreline to sandy beaches. On Mondays and Wednesdays you can sample over 50 different honey flavours at The Honey Farm. Purchase pure honey gifts and view a real working bee hive. On Saturdays walk the cool Marakoopa forest, following the clean stream. View giant tree ferns, moss and lichens in this very special place.

Cradle Free Time Tour

The Cradle Free Time Tour is an ideal way to explore the Cradle Mountain region. Join Tiger Wilderness Tour's Cradle and Caves Day Tour on Monday, a great way to familiarise yourself with the park. Then enjoy your freedom and explore the lakes and mountains at your leisure for two more days. With your two days of free time you could climb Cradle Mountain or take short walks. Visit Devils@Cradle and see a real Tasmanian Devil (the cost is included). Rejoin the tour at 4:30pm on Wednesday and return to Launceston.

Lavender and Sparkles Tour

Experience 52 hectares (130 acres) which produces lavender oil of world class quality. Stroll through the vast fields or rest under the old oak trees. See the vivid colours in season, smell the perfumed air. During harvest, tour the oil-processing factory and visit the gift shop. Delicious lavender muffins and cream, fresh tea or coffee are all included. Peak season flowers are in December and January and should not be missed. Pipers Wine Trail and Vineyard Lunch Tour

Reserve your place on this grand tour of the Pipers Brook and the West Tamar regions. Choose a glass of premium wine to accompany a fabulous lunch at the Pipers Brook Vineyard Cafe. You will experience the variety and delights of five to six wineries. Taste spicy cabernets, pinots, rose, sparkles and of course Tasmania's clean and complex whites.
