Millybrook Lodge
Millybrook Lodge is nestled in the valley of the South Esk River east of Launceston, Tasmania. It is part of the first farm in the area.
The Lodge was originally a barn and has been converted and extended to offer comfortable accommodation for up to 12 people. It has an open-plan kitchen and living area, two bathrooms and a large games hall equipped for table tennis, basketball, darts and carpet bowls. Alternatively, use the hall as a conference room or workshop area. The Cabin is a cosy two-bedroom self-contained unit. Both facilities offer the warmth of wood heaters for those cool nights.
The accommodation offers an excellent base for a wide range of outdoor pursuits such as trout fishing, bushwalking and trail or mountain bike riding. You can explore the natural, cultural and social history of the region. You may wish to stroll around the dams and gardens or relax in the summer hut and listen to the river. After dark take a short drive and discover the unique wildlife which abounds on and around the property.
The property is just over an hours’ drive (73 kilometres/45 miles) east of Launceston.
