Scamander Tourist Park
Scamander Tourist Park offers camping sites, cabin accommodation and onsite caravans in Scamander, Tasmania. Ideal for family holidays, the park is homely and close to white sandy beaches.
There are two cabins available at the park, accommodating between two and five guests. Choose from a single bedroom option appointed with a double bed, or a second cabin with two bedrooms including a double bed and individual bunk beds. There are powered and unpowered camp sites as well as onsite caravans available for hire. The caravans are suitable for two to four guests and are fitted with double beds and bunks. Linen is also available for hire for $% per bed. There is an amenities block with showers and toilets as well as a barbecue shelter with sinks and communal tables. Laundry facilities include washing machines and clothes dryers.
Visit nearby Scamander River and try your hand at fishing for bream. Spend some time on the beautiful white beaches and keep an eye out for dolphins. Drive the short distance to St Columba Falls, the highest falls in Tasmania. Visit the Bay of Fires where you will find colourful wildflowers and fishing lagoons.
The park is approximately 15-minutes’ drive from St Helens and around two-hours’ drive from Launceston (165 kilometres/102 miles).
