Bay of Fires Character Cottages
The Bay of Fires Character Cottages provides self-contained accommodation at Binalong Bay on Tasmania’s east coast. Breathtaking views up the coastline stretch to Eddystone Light House.
There are one, two and three-bedroom fully self-contained cottages as well as a four star two-story deluxe spa cottage. They are equipped with a dishwasher(two cottages only), wood heater (one cottage only), laundry facilities and televisions with DVD players. All cottages have balconies and barbecues. While staying with us enjoy the dining experience Angasi Restaurant has to offer. Oysters are a menu speciality along with all other sumptuous local produce.
From this base explore the Peron Sand Dunes, Blue Tier, St Columba and Ralph Falls, Pyengana Cheese factory, The Pub in the Paddock, the coastline of the Bay of Fires and Mount William National Park. Or enjoy an activity tailor made to suit with the onsite Dive Centre, Bay of Fires Dive.
Just south, spend some time in Bicheno and enjoy an evening penguin tour. The east coast is ideal for rock, beach and deep sea fishing. Book a fishing charter or hire a canoe and explore the coastline at your own pace.
From Launceston, Binalong Bay is approximately two and a half hours drive via Fingal Valley (177 kilometres/110 miles).
