Pelican Sands is nestled in the heart of the magnificent north east coast of Tasmania right on the beachfront at the mouth of the Scamander River, an ideal spot to make your base, to explore this region which abounds in natural delights and breathtaking scenery.
We have tastefully refurbished “boutique” style Waterfront Queen Studios, 2 bedroom Apartments, Garden View Studios and Family “Beach Shack” style units. All are fully self contained and spacious with quality inclusions for a relaxing and indulgent holiday experience. The grounds are landscaped with direct beach access, the swimming pool is heated, there is a children’s playground, BBQ’s, picnic tables and an excellent wine list as we are licensed for guests.
Pristine white sandy beaches with clear turquoise waters are yours to enjoy. Stroll along the beach, have a picnic, surf the waves or swim in the lagoon at the front of the property. If you are more energetic you can take one of the kayaks and paddle the reaches of the Scamander River and enjoy the bushland scenery. Excellent bream and salmon fishing in the Scamander River for those who enjoy fishing. A unique and beautiful location.
