Red Rooster Host Farm is nestled under Mount Arthur just outside Launceston, northern Tasmania.
The farm is set on 6.5 hectares (16 acres) in a peaceful valley studded with old trees and surrounded by forest and bush. The spacious and comfortable apartment has two bedrooms. One is appointed with a queen-size bed and the second bedroom has a double and single bed. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen and modern comforts including a spacious living and dining area.
Come during the spring season and you will experience thousands of beautiful daffodils in bloom and be mesmerised by the clear night skies and sparkling stars.
Red Rooster Host Farm is a bird watcher’s paradise with many birds including the rare White Goshawk and Wedge-tail eagles often sited. Enjoy fern glade walks into nearby natural bush. You may be lucky enough to spot a shy platypus or a wallaby on the bound. Help yourself to the organic garlic, fruit, berries and vegetables when in season. The produce is all grown on the farm in the garden and small orchard.
