Moorina Golf Club

Moorina Golf Club offers a nine-hole course in the far north-eastern region of Tasmania.
The well-maintained course (par 70) is located in a delightful setting surrounded by bushland. There is a putting green as well as a bar and kitchen in the club house. The course is reasonably flat, with only one hilly section. Moorina Golf Club is open to the public each day. It is difficult for visitors to miss with the Tasman Highway running through the course.
While you are in the north-east you may like to visit Bridestowe Lavender Farm, the largest lavender farm in the southern hemisphere. You can also follow the Tasman Highway from Moorina through to St Helens on Tasmania’s east coast. Here you will find stunning beaches and excellent fishing opportunities. Cast a line from the rocks or try your hand at deep sea fishing with a guide. Hire a bike and make your way down to Binalong Bay where the turquoise water will beckon you to swim. For excellent bushwalking, head to the Bay of Fires or stop by the east coast wineries and sample some fine Tasmanian wine.
Moorina is approximately 90-minutes’ drive (110 kilometres/68 miles) from Launceston.
