Birdland Holiday Cottages offer self-contained accommodation at Sisters Beach, near Burnie on Tasmania’s northwest coast.
The three cottages are located in a tranquil and quiet bush setting, about eight minutes’ walk to the beautiful white sands at Sisters Beach. Two of the cottages have two bedrooms (a double bed and two singles) and one cottage has three bedrooms (a double bed and four singles). Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, heating, television and plenty of car parking. A gas barbeque and DVD players are available.
Birdland is a nature-lover's paradise so you can indulge your interest in nature study and bird watching. Hone your skills in identifying native plants, especially the orchids. Wonder at the ancient Aboriginal caves in the national park.
Sisters Beach offers many walking and hiking tracks into the Rocky Cape National Park, unspoiled natural beach for swimming and water sports for the whole family, and is centrally located for visitors wishing to explore Boat Harbour Beach – a short five minute drive away, Stanley and Cradle Mountain.
Birdland Holiday Cottages is only 20 minutes’ drive from the Burnie/Wynyard airport (37 kilometres/23 miles) and one hours’ drive from the Spirit of Tasmania ferry terminal in Devonport (89 kilometres/55 miles).
