Wytchbrooke
Wytchbrooke Gardens is a large scale woodland garden located in Lapoinya on Tasmania’s northwest coast. Set on over five acres, it was established in the early 1970’s with many varieties of rhododendrons which were collected in the Himalayan and China regions.
Wander the many paths to see rhododendrons, camellias, fuchsias, azaleas together with many other exotic and native shrubs, trees and horticultural species. With a backdrop of impressive rainforest and waterfalls, two meandering streams and a lake with its very own platypus to complete the picture you are sure to find something of interest. There are ducks, chickens, peacocks and horses for the children to see so bring a picnic if you wish. Tea and coffee is available.
