Scenic Day Tours offers personalised day and half-day tours of the north-west coast.
You’ll see the charming town of Stanley, the striking Table Cape plateau, and the spectacular Cradle Mountain. The tours accommodate up to six passengers travelling in comfort and suit all age groups, including families, bushwalkers, backpackers and the elderly. Personalised tours are available on request.
Tours operate all year round with lunch, national parks fees and entrance fees included.

Cradle Mountain Day TourScenic drive to Cradle Mountain National Park where there is a range of walking options available, from short 20 minute walks to three hours. A picnic lunch and hot tea or coffee and bottled water is provided. Tours operate year round but may be subject to adverse weather conditions. Tours depart from Wynyard Information Centre 8.00am and Burnie Park 8.30am and return around 4.30pm. Cradle Mountain Two Day TourDeparting the Devonport Ferry Terminal or at your accommodation, the tour travels to Sheffield and then on to Cradle Mountain. Spend the day exploring the national park before a gourmet barbeque dinner. Accommodation is at Cosy Cabins. On day two the tour visits Guide Falls Alpaca farm and Burnie, returning to Devonport around 4pm. Breakfast and lunch are included. Stanley Day TourDeparting from Burnie and Wynyard the tour visits the historic township of Stanley and its landmark ‘the Nut', which affords a great view of the town and the coastline. You can check out the Discovery Centre Folk Museum or the Stanley Artworks Gallery before travelling to historic Highfield House (1832). Tour returns around 3pm and price includes lunch. Stanley Two Day TourTour starts in Devonport and travels to Penguin, Table Cape, Wynyard and Boat Harbour. The afternoon is spent exploring Stanley and is followed by an evening ghost tour of Highfield House. Overnight accommodation in Stanley and the tour returns to Devonport via Dip Falls and Emu Valley Rhododendron Gardens. Meals are included. Table Cape/Boat Harbour Half Day TourThis tour departs Burnie and Wynyard and travels the short distance to Table Cape lookout and onto the historic lighthouse. Lunch is at Boat Harbour beach followed by optional leisure activities. Tour price includes lunch. | |
