Holiday Coast Day Tours
Holiday Coast Day Tours offer full and half-day scenic tours to the north-west coast and Cradle Mountain.
There are five tours for you to choose from, including full-day tours to Circular Head and Stanley, Marakoopa Caves and Wildlife Park, Tamar Valley, and Cradle Mountain. You can also enjoy a half-day tour to Leven Canon taking in the Forth Valley and Gunns Plains.
You’ll travel in the comfort of a 21-seater coach equipped with wheelchair lift.
All tours depart from Wynyard, just one hours’ drive from Devonport, unless by prior arrangement.

Circular Head and Stanley TourThis tour includes Stanley, a port founded in 1825, where you still will find splendid fresh seafood at the old wharf area. At the huge rock formation known as The Nut a chairlift ride to the 120 metre high summit is included in the cost of the tour. Country Roads to Leven Canyon TourHoliday Coast Day Tours operate a half day country ramble to Leven Canyon, Forth Valley and Gunns Plains. Cradle Mountain TourDay trip to Cradle Mountain via Forth Valley and Wilmot, Dove Lake, Waldheim Chalet and return via Barrington and Sheffield. Marakoopa Caves and Wildlife Park TourThis tour takes you into the chambers in Marakoopa Cave - a massive labyrinth with an underground river with glow worms to light your way. Tamar Valley TourThis tour takes you via Exeter to Beaconsfield home of the Grubb Shaft Gold and Heritage Museum and the location of the greatest mine escape of the 21st century. Then over the Batman Bridge to Lilydale to visit the Lalla Woolshed and Market. A visit to the Bridestowe Lavender Farm in also included if you are travelling in January. | |
