Arcadia II - Pieman River Cruises
Arcadia II - Pieman River Cruises operate on the Pieman River on the west coast. Cruises on this magnificent river run daily. The return trip between Corinna and Pieman Heads takes four hours and provides guests with a breathtaking river, rainforest and coastal experience.
Guests on the Arcadia have rated the Pieman River cruise as an extremely memorable experience. With no other vessel sharing the river there is a rich interpretation of natural and pioneering heritage and an intimate experience with the rainforest and the river.
The species diversity and beauty of the Tarkine come to life in this unforgettable cruise. People love the Arcadia – the only Huon pine river cruiser in the world. She has been part of Corinna life since 1970 and is destined for even more work with the rebirth of the Corinna Township as a wilderness experience.
The usual cruise allows time for guests to walk to the wild southern ocean at Pieman Heads – scene of many shipwrecks when Corinna was a thriving town in the late 1800’s.
Make sure that you include the Arcadia experience on your itinerary, as it will live in your heart and soul forever.
