Driftwood Strahan Villas are situated in a peaceful location in Strahan on Tasmania’s west coast. Otherwise known as “ the best little town in the world”.
The well-appointed villas are located within easy walking distance to the town centre, cruise boats, scenic flights, restaurants, swimming beach and supermarkets
Built in 2006, these eight new villas sleep up to four people, six have two bedrooms - with either two queen beds, or one queen and two singles. There are two one-bedroom villas, one has disabled facilities, with a queen bed and sofa bed. The other has a queen bed and sofa bed (kitchen/living downstairs - bedroom bathroom upstairs.
Each villa features fully equipped kitchens and comfortable living areas, with electric heating, electric blankets, television, digital video displays/compact disc/radios, clock radios, hairdryers and undercover parking beside each one. They are designated non-smoking. Laundry facility, cots and highchair are available.
There are a range of sightseeing tours and activities on offer; cruises on Macquarie Harbour/Gordon River, a heritage rail journey through rainforest on the West Coast Wilderness Railway, seaplanes and helicopter flights over World Heritage areas, jet boats, four wheeler bikes tours, fishing charter, take in the sunset at Ocean Beach.
