A real Aussie hotel steeped in history and ideally situated to take in the local sights. And what sightseeing there is. Zeehan once had a population of 10,000, its own stock exchange and 24 hotels. It was called Silver City, where diggers tunnelled into mountains for ore. They deposited their earnings (if any) at the old bank and were entertained at the old Gaiety Theatre.
