Kittys Place offers five modern self-contained apartments at Strahan on Tasmania’s west coast. Strahan is a haven on the edge of the wilderness.
You can choose from two bedroom or one bedroom apartments. The two bedroom apartments have their living area and full kitchen facilities downstairs, and bedrooms above. The one bedroom apartments also have full cooking facilities. One has disabled facilities. Cots and high chairs can be provided. There are barbeque and laundry facilities.
A great place to base yourself for a few nights while you explore this great historic town and learn about a daring convict escape in the play, The Ship That Never Was. There are so many choices of things to do - take a Gordon River Cruise, go on a four wheel drive tour into the nearby world heritage wilderness areas, or maybe a train ride on the heritage West Coast Wilderness Railway which winds it way through mountainous terrain and rainforest.
Take a helicopter or seaplane flight over the wilderness, go jet boating, kayaking on the Henty River, sand boarding or four wheel biking on the Henty Sand Dunes. Walk on a wild ocean beach then retreat to your cosy apartment for a spa.
