This unique multi-level pole house, featuring the warm glow of native and recycled timbers throughout, is spacious and welcoming. There are three bedrooms (two with queen sized beds, one with two single beds) accommodating up to six people, a well-equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Bathroom facilities include a bath and shower and two separate toilets. With its huge King Billy and Celery Top pine poles, Blackwood beams, recycled timber doors, windows and floorboards and Huon pine kitchen, Piners Loft offers unique holiday accommodation. Enjoy a meal on the balcony overlooking the large bush garden filled with native birds.
Piners Loft is the ideal base from which to explore the wild beauty of Tasmania’s west coast, an area of magnificent temperate rainforests, coastline, rivers and extraordinary wilderness. Macquarie Harbour is the gateway to the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park and the Southwest National Park; both are Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Areas. Cruise the Gordon River, take an historic train journey through rugged mountain wilderness or a scenic flight over Frenchman’s Cap.
Strahan is approximately four hours drive (289 kilometres/180 miles) north west of Hobart.
